Limited clientele and specialized expertise
The primary focus of the firm’s work involves a small number of clients in the area of creditor rights, and includes representation of financial institutions and local businesses. This specialized and limited focus on the creditor serves to minimize the potential for conflicts of interest. This specialization also enhances our expertise in the creditor rights fields of law.
A large portion of the firm’s resources is currently devoted to the ongoing representation of
PNC BANK, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION in Northern Ohio in the areas of commercial loan and SBA loan workouts, commercial mortgage and security interest foreclosures, and equipment lease workouts. Prior to the 2009 merger of National City Bank into PNC Bank, the firm represented NCB continuously for nearly 23 years. The continuation of representation with PNC Bank marks 30 years of work for essentially the same client.
The firm has also represented other financial organizations such as FIRST SOUTHWESTERN FINANCIAL SERVICES, Roy, Utah; U.S. BANK, NA, San Diego California; and BANK OF NORTH CAROLINA, Thomasville, North Carolina in the areas of commercial and SBA loan recovery, foreclosures and loan workouts.
Other businesses such as MAXUS CAPITAL GROUP LLC, ANCOR, INC., CLEVELAND CONSTRUCTION, INC., and VIP FOODS, INC. are also represented in asset recovery, real estate, corporate and general litigation matters.
